Another myself

At some strange hours of the night

I saw myself standing up in dim light

Something had been going on

Someone had been coming to life

A reasonless fear started coiling my mind

I was not sure where I was

Yet I stayed where I was

All I see turned out magical

I had a torrent of questions in the mind

I watched him being shaped

It was a shocking sight

He was getting clearer

He could read my thoughts

and write them down

He seemed to know my complete soul

I tried to reach out for him

But, my hands were unmoving as in a trance

Then he began to vanish.

Before he was fully out of sight,

I learned that he was another myself

Dad's world

(Child) daddy I want to go there

I want to see your world

Once I have a look

I will be right back

(Dad) baby you are mistaken

Don’t be a stupid girl

It’s called the mad world

There is no way out

Once you are stuck in my world

(Child) I know you’re lying, dad!

You’re keeping that world from me

You know the wonders it truly holds

(Dad)Please baby hear me out

There People are complicated

There is no leaf falling off

No river stops running

(Child)  I see it’s a wonder world

You have to take me there

I can hold it no more

I want to go with you

I want to live with you

Lost friend

Arrows of poisoned words

were aimed at my tender heart

one each for every passing second

Years had gone by, and

now my heart got used to it

I took all that pain

just for my guileless friend

who came home one fine morning

I gave him food and water

and a place to sleep

He was a pure soul

in a few weeks

I found him growing weak

I could not bear that sight

Though I stood up for him

and shielded him not failing

They had their arrows ready,

Arrows of poisoning words

Now poison filled my veins

I was no longer standing

I hoped on my knees

They would step back one day

They had no mercy at all

They aimed at him when I fell

Those arrows pierced his heart

Poison put him down

And I watched him die in pain
